Ulcombe, the manor, held of the archbishop of Canterbury, in right of his church of Canterbury, by knight service. Annual value £20
. He enfeoffed therein Thomas, Lord Scales, knight , Thomas Seintlegier , John Horne , and Richard Horne , to have to them and their heirs and assigns. They were thus seised in demesne as of fee.
Frittenden, Staplehurst, Lenham, Boughton Malherbe, Little Chart, Pluckley, and other places, various lands, tenements, rents, and services in the parishes, with which he enfeoffed Thomas de Ecchyngham, knight , William Cheyne , Alexander Cheyne , William Septvaus , John Horne , Richard Horne , esquires, and Laurence Meller , to have to them and their heirs and assigns. They too were thus seised in demesne as of fee. The lands and tenements are held of various lords in gavelkind, service unknown. Annual value £30.

He died on 16 May last. Ralph Seintlegier is his son and next heir, and aged 12 years.
