[Dorse:] By virtue of this writ, I took 1/3 manor of Langley, of which Parnel had died seised, into the king’s hand.

She was seised of the following in demesne as of fee tail, to her and the heirs of her body.
Langley, 1/3 manor, extending to the hamlets of Langley, Ruckley, and Hothales, held of the king in chief as a third of 1/4 knight’s fee. The manor as a whole is held as 1/4 knight’s fee. In the third, there is the manorial site, worth nothing yearly; 150 a. arable, each acre worth 1d. yearly; 6 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 12 a. pasture, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 4s. assize rent from free tenants, payable at Michaelmas and Easter equally; 30 a. waste, worth nothing yearly; and 40 a. wood, worth nothing yearly.

She died on 12 March last. Ralph Lee, esquire , is her son and next heir, and aged 38 and more.
