The grant was made by charter, shown to the jurors, and Elizabeth was described as Elizabeth, who was wife of Edward Burnell, chevalier . By virtue of the grant, Elizabeth and Thomas Criston, chevalier, then her husband, attorned to the donees, and Elizabeth afterwards died seised of the manor in demesne as of free tenement. Thomas, earl of Salisbury, Richard Hastynges, chevalier, and Baldwin Bugge, are now deceased.She died on 3 April 1440.
