Houghton, 1/2 manor. There are 4 messuages in the hand of various tenants-at-will, each messuage, with 10 a. land and meadow appurtenant, worth 6s. 8d. yearly;n148 20 messuages, worth nothing yearly because totally wasted and destroyed by the king’s Scottish enemies; 60 a. demesne land, each acre worth 4d. yearly; and 40 a. demesne meadow, each acre worth 6d. yearly.
Scaleby, 1/2 castle.
The manor and castle are held of the king in chief by homage and fealty, and by payment of 11s. 11 1/2d. cornage to the king yearly at his exchequer at Carlisle for the whole manor.
Kirklinton, a moiety of 1/3 manor, of no annual value as wasted and destroyed by the Scots, held of the king in chief by homage and fealty.
Hetherford, 3 messuages, of no annual value, reason as above, held of the king in chief by homage and fealty.
Ireby, 1/2 manor, held of Henry, earl of Northumberland , by homage and fealty. Rotheland and Blamyre, 1/2 manors, of no annual value, reason as above. Of whom they are held, unknown.
Newbiggin, 3 messuages, annual value 10s., held of Henry Wherton , service unknown.
Solport, 1/2 manor, of no annual value, reason as above, held of Joan, countess of Westmorland , service unknown.
Carlisle, 2 messuages, annual value 5s., but of whom they are held, and by what service, unknown; a moiety of 8s. rent from the tenement of John Warde, senior, payable at Pentecost and Martinmas equally; and a moiety of 6s. 8d. rent from the tenement of John Knoblowe, chaplain, payable at Pentecost and Martinmas equally.
Newlaithes Hall, 1/2 messuage by Newlaithes Hall, called ‘Sourby’, and 1/2 close there called ‘Caldkeld’, annual value 20d., but of whom they are held, and by what service, unknown.

She died on 7 October last. William Coluell is her son and next heir, and aged 15 years and more.
