Burton in Lonsdale, a messuage, worth nothing yearly; 150 a. land, each acre worth 2d. yearly; and 40 a. meadow and pasture, each acre worth 4 1/2d. yearly, held of the king in chief as of his crown of England in socage by service of one rose yearly at Midsummer for all services.

He died at Burton in Lonsdale on 18 April last. John, his son and next heir, is aged 30 years and more.
