He held no lands or tenements in demesne or service of the king, or any other. But ‪ Henry IV , by letters patent dated on 1 January 1408, granted the following to him for life.n112 The lands and tenements were described as those forfeit by John Pluknet , outlawed for high treason.

Little Hadham, 184 a. land, 3 a. wood, 8 a. meadow, 114 a. pasture, and 8s. 10 1/2d. rent. Annual value 66s. 8d.
John Rassh entered the lands and tenements by virtue of the letters patent, and afterwards granted them to John Kirkeby , to hold for the term of the life of John Rassh .

He died on 26 March last. Identity of his next heir, unknown.
