He knows because William Forster of Ovingham married Alice in Ovingham church on the day that Thomas was born. He thus well recollects that Thomas Lisle was the said age on 11 June. John Belyngeham , 70 years and more, similarly sworn and examined about the age of Thomas Lisle , started his journey to the city of London on business for Robert Lisle, chevalier , then his master. Adam Kelyngworth , 67 years and more, buried Alice his wife. Robert Musgrave , 50 years and more, knows because John Taillour of Nafferton was killed by a cart-wheel. William Zot , 67 years and more, was in Ovingham church when Thomas Lisle was put in the font. Robert Langwath , 65 years and more, held a lit candle at Thomas’ baptism.
