263 Writ (Exchequer). ‡ 12 June 1434. [Wymbyssh].

To the treasurer and barons of the Exchequer regarding the inquisition concerning the manor of Newton by Castle Acre held virtute officii by John Roys, escheator , and said to have been returned to Exchequer. The inquisition to be sent under the Exchequer seal to the Chancery and the tenor of the inquisition to be retained in order that a valuation can be made according to the right, law and customs of England.

Nicholas was to hold of the chief lords of those fees by the services belonging to the manor; Agnes Childe has issue Johnn124 and Alice; Sybil held the manor of ‪ Henry IV of his honour of Aumale in socage by the service otherwise in 26; and Sybil died on 28 August 1400 [not given as Monday].
