Midgham, the manor, in which there is a hall with a chamber, 2 exceedingly ruinous granges and a cattle-shed, worth nothing yearly; an orchard, worth 12d. yearly in normal years; 2 small crofts, worth 8d. yearly; 100 a. arable, each acre worth 2d., [sum] 16s. 8d.; 14 a. meadow, each acre 6d., [sum] 7s.; 20 a. pasture, each acre 2d., [sum] 3s. 4d.; 13s. 10d. assize rent from free tenants at Easter and Michaelmas in equal portions; 62s. 6d. rents of tenants-at-will by the copy (ad voluntatem per copiam) at the same feasts; a fishery, worth 6d. yearly; a small wood, worth nothing yearly; and 3 other tenements which should render 9s. yearly but now nothing because in his hands long before his death for want of tenant.
East Ilsley or West Ilsley, a messuage and a virgate of land, part of this manor and worth 10s. yearly.

He died on 20 May last. John Erle is his son and next heir, aged 12 years and more.
