Holdings
By a fine levied at Westminster on the octave of Michaelmas 1311 [CP 25/1/49/27 no. 47], John de Gormaleys , deforc., granted the following to Roger de Henyngton and Joan his wife, quer., and to the heirs of Roger’s body by Joan, with remainder to the right heirs of Roger. Roger and Joan were thus seised of the manor and advowson in demesne as of fee tail.
Hinton Parva, the manor and advowson of the church there, annual value 100s., held of the earl of Salisbury as of his castle of Christchurch, service unknown.
Roger and Joan had issue: Roger. Roger and Joan died, and Roger entered the manor and advowson as their son and heir. Roger had issue: Ralph. Roger died, and Ralph entered the manor and advowson as his son and heir. Ralph had issue: John. Ralph died, and John entered the manor and advowson as his son and heir. John had issue: John. John son of Ralph died, and John son of John entered the manor and advowson as his son and heir. John had issue: Roland, nowadays called Roland Henton , and Alice. John died, and Roland entered the manor and advowson as his son and heir. Roland died without heir of his body and the manor and advowson descended to Alice as sister and heir of Roland. She is still living and is now wife of Henry Palmer .

He died on 20 July 1427. Alice his sister and next heir is aged 50 and more.

Joan widow of Roland occupied the manor from the time of his death until now, and took the issues, title unknown.
