He held no lands or tenements of the king in chief or any other in demesne or service, but was seised of the following in demesne as of fee on 28 December 1411, long before his death.
Croydon, 2 shops and 2 a. land, annual value 12s., held of the archbishop of Canterbury as of his manor of Croydon by fealty and rent of 14d. yearly for all services.
He granted the shops and land to William Hadresham and John Tere , and to their heirs and assigns in perpetuity, as confirmed by his charter dated 3 January 1412 and shown to the jurors. William and John were seised in demesne as of fee and continued in this estate during Richard’s life.
He died on 16 May 1412. The identity of his next heir is unknown because he died without heir de se.
