Holdings
He died seised of the following in demesne as of fee.
Great Barford, a messuage, flanked by the messuages of Stephen le Crenqer and the prior of Bushmead on one side and the land of John de Harwedon on the other, worth nothing; 15 a. land, each acre worth 4d. yearly; and 4 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. yearly, held of the king in chief in socage by rendering 6d. yearly to the king and his heirs, delivered by the sheriff at the four annual terms.
He died on 20 July 1400. Christine Oyldeboef and Margaret wife of Richard Hukelegh are his daughters and next heirs. They are respectively aged 50 and more, and 46 and more.
The lands and tenements have been occupied since his death and the issues taken severally. Katherine Bury of Great Barford entered the messuage, and John Blok , Joan his wife, Thomas their son and heir, and William Cubyll of Great Barford entered the land and meadow. They intruded upon the possession of ‪ Henry IV , and are thus answerable to the king.
