William Chetell , 46 and more, swears that John was born at Lytchett Matravers, baptised in the church there, and was aged 21 on 14 February last. He knows because Robert Chetell his father was buried in the churchyard of the same church on the day of the birth and baptism. William Howeles , 50 and more, married Alice. John Houchons , 44 and more, says that Richard his son celebrated his first mass in the church. William Storkes , 50 and more, gave an image of St Mary to the church. Thomas Baydod , 46 and more, says that John Lane was instituted as rector. John Hekford , 46 and more, says that Robert Roo his own godfather suddenly died in the church. William Hornysbowe , 50 and more, was made keeper of the church goods. John Gylden , 44 and more, constructed a high cross of stone in the churchyard of the church. William Brunsop , 60 and more, says that Agnes his wife gave birth to a daughter called Katherine, still living. Walter Russell , 44 and more, carried 2 silver-gilt pots to the church, full of various wines to refresh John’s godfathers, godmother, and other bystanders. Richard Pylke , 52 and more, says that Geoffrey his father was afflicted by paralysis. John Garland , 56 and more, broke his right arm in a fall onto the road while going home from the church.
