He held the manor of (Old) Sufton except 1/3 of 2/3 manor which Katherine widow of Thomas Hereford holds in dower after the death of Thomas, together with the reversion of this 1/3 after her death, in his demesne as of fee of the king in chief by knight service. In the whole manor there are broken-down and derelict houses in great need of repair, worth nothing yearly; 2 carucates, each worth 20s. yearly; 10 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; 5 a. pasture, each worth 10d. yearly; and 17s. rents of both free tenants and tenants at will at Easter and Michaelmas equally.

He died on 20 March last. William his son is his next heir, aged 17 1/2 years.
