He died seised in his demesne as of fee of

2/3 of 1/3 of the manor and lordship of Drax. These 2/3, together with the 1/3 held in dower by Isabel widow of Richard Lely , his father, with reversion to himself and his heirs, are held of the king in chief by service of 1/3 knight’s fee. In the 2/3 there are derelict houses, worth nothing yearly; 2 cottages totally demolished and a demolished mill, worth nothing yearly; 99 a. 1 rood of land, each acre worth 8d. yearly; £6 18s. 10d. assize rents in the vill of Drax and its soke, namely in Drax, Newland, Airmyn, Rusholme, Scurff and Long Drax; rents of 21 hens and 80 eggs from free tenants in these vills, price of each hen 2d. and of every 20 eggs 1d.; and 10s. 7 1/2d. annual rent called ‘milnis male’ in Drax, Scurff, Rusholme, and Airmyn.
He died seised in his demesne as of fee of
a toft, totally wasted, in the vill of Snaith, worth nothing yearly, held of John Wariner ’s heirs, service unknown.

He died on 7 December last. Joan his daughter is his next heir, aged 1 year and more.
