He held a messuage and 12 a. land in Moreton in his demesne as of fee of the king in chief by service of finding a fortieth part of a horse, of a leather sack and of an iron pin [?or hammer] (unius chevelli de ferro) for the king’s military service in Wales for 40 days. The messuage is worth nothing yearly, each acre 4d. yearly.

He died on 21 March last. John le Spenser of Magdalen Laver is his son and next heir, aged 40 years and more.
