Holdings

As detailed in the writ, the earlier inquisition before Robert Darcy, escheator , [CIPM XIX, no. 1030], found that she held

the manor of Bobbingworth with the advowson of Bobbingworth church
for life, reversion to Thomas son and heir of Thomas de Enefeld , deceased, then a minor in ‪Henry IV’s wardship, and his heirs, as kinsman and heir of Alice who was the wife of Ralph de Tyle , being the son of Thomas brother of John father of this Alice. By a fine levied at Westminster, quin. Trin. 1389 [CP 25/1/69/248 no.291], Maud de Enefeld of Laver deforc. granted the reversion of
the manor and advowson
, which should revert to her and her heirs after Joan’s death, in full to Ralph, Alice and John, Ralph’s son, quer. and Alice’s heirs, as is clear in the fine.
The manor with advowson was held in chief of the earl of March, then a minor in ‪Henry IV’s wardship, of his honour of Clare, service unknown.
Ralph de Tyle , Alice his wife and John his son are deceased.

Alice died without heir of her body. Thomas son and heir of Thomas de Enefeld was aged 21 years and more on 18 October last.
