He held the manor of Eastburn jointly enfeoffed with Margaret his late wife, by grant of Ralph earl of Westmorland to them and his heirs, ‪Henry IV’s licence having been obtained [CPR 1405–8, p.333]. He died seised of this estate and Margaret survived at the time of the earlier inquisition held before Robert de Morton, escheator [CIPM XX, no. 27].
