An inquisition before Thomas Brerdyng, escheator , [CIPM XIX, no. 555] held in Wiltshire found that he held, amongst others,
Richard died on 6 January 1409 and Mary his wife was then pregnant by him. This issue would be his next heir, otherwise John de Sancto Mauro, his brother, was his next heir. Mary gave birth to a live infant, a daughter named Alice, whom William le Zouche, chevalier , married. Alice is Richard’s daughter and heir, aged 14 years on 23 July last.

He died on 6 January 1409. Mary his wife was then pregnant by him and on the following 23 July, gave birth to a daughter named Alice who is his daughter and heir and whom William Lord de Zouche, knight , married. Alice was aged 14 years on 23 July last. At the time of his death, John de Sancto Mauro was his brother and heir apparent. He thus held more lands and tenements than were specified in the inquisition held before Richard Oterry, escheator , but no more than specified there and above [CIPM XIX, no. 559].
