She (vidua Regis) married without the king’s licence and held at the time of this transgression 1/3 of 1/3 manor of Ashley and 1/3 manors of Bromley and Werrington by endowment of Thomas her late husband and assignment of the king, annual value 106s. 8d. paid at Michaelmas, Christmas, Lady Day and Midsummer in equal portions. The 1/3 of 1/3 manor of Ashley is held of the king in chief by knight service. The 1/3 manors of Bromley and Werrington is held together with 2/3 manors of others than the king, service unknown. She held no more lands or tenements at the time of this transgression or afterwards.
