She held in dower from her husband Thomas Faucomberge, knight , of the inheritance of Joan Faucomberge , her and Thomas's daughter and heir: 1/3 manor of Skelton, annual value nil; 1/3 certain lands and tenements belonging to that manor, i.e. 100 a. demesne arable worth yearly 4d. an acre, 20 a. meadow worth yearly 18d. an acre, 10 messuages worth yearly 2s. each, 4 bovates worth yearly 3s. each, a close called `Tydkynhowe', annual value 13s. 4d., 3 little closes worth yearly 5s. each, 1/3 water- mill, annual value 20s., a close called `Laundykes', annual value 6s. 8d., and 1/3 perquisites of court, annual value nil above the expenses of the steward and bailiff; 1/3 site of the manor of Marske, annual value nil above the enclosure, and 1/3 certain lands belonging to that manor, i.e. 60 a. arable worth yearly 6d. an acre, 200 a. arable worth yearly 4d. an acre, 16 a. meadow worth yearly 18d. an acre, 5 messuages worth yearly 2s. each, 10 bovates worth yearly 5s. each, 6 tofts worth yearly 20d. each, 2 saltworks in East Coatham which belong to the manor and are worth yearly 18d. each, 2 saltworks in West Coatham worth yearly 20d. each, 1/3 messuage and tenements called `Dawnayland', i.e. a chamber at the east end of the hall of the messuage, a ruinous building next the doorway of the messuage, annual value nil above the necessary repairs. She held for life the manor of Redcar by grant of John Ellerker and Robert Santon to her and Thomas and the heirs of their bodies made by fine [quin. Hil. and quin. East. 1408: CP 25/1/279/151, no. 1] with the king's licence [not found]. There are in the manor 49 messuages worth yearly 5s. each, 40 a. arable worth yearly 3d. an acre; 100 a. arable worth yearly 2d. an acre, £20 rent, the tolls and profits of the boats of Redcar called `colysferme', annual value 6s. 8d., and 3 tofts worth yearly 2s. each. The manor and lands are held of the king by knight service.
She died on 23 June 1411 [sic, recte 4 March 1409:CIPM XIX, no. 388]. Joan Faucomberge , daughter of Thomas and Joan, is their next heir, aged 16 years and more.
Richard Cliderowe and Thomas de Strikland have occupied the lands and taken the profits from Joan's death by letters patent of Henry IV [13 April 1409:CFR 1405-13, p. 146].
