John Barnak, knight , was seised in his demesne as of fee of the manor of Sandy, held of the king in chief, service unknown. There are in the manor the site, annual value nil, 200 a. arable, annual value 5 marks, 20 a. meadow, annual value 40s., 20 a. pasture, annual value 20s., 7 a. wood, annual value nil, a water-mill, annual value 13s. 4d., and 4 marks of assize rents. The manor is in the king's hand, but no other lands came into the hand of Henry IV because of the death of John and his son John.
Edmund [son of John Barnak, knight ] died without issue on 26 July 1414. Mary wife of Robert Stonham , who survives aged 16 years and more, and Joan, deceased, were his sisters and next heirs.
