He held in his demesne as of fee in Offton and Elmsett 100 a. arable worth yearly 4d. an acre, 4 a. meadow worth yearly 8d. an acre, 40 a. pasture worth yearly 4d. an acre, 3 a. underwood which can be cut every eighth year when it is worth 3s. 4d. an acre, annual value this year nil because it was cut three years ago. He also held in his demesne as of fee 18 a. arable there held of the king in chief of the manor of Elmsett of the inheritance of Humphrey, earl of Hereford , service unknown. The manor of Elmsett and the earl's other manors were in the king's hand when Philip died, and afterwards on the death of Joan, countess of Hereford , who held in chief, were taken in hand again and so remained with him.
He died on 9 Aug. 1420. Katharine Cok is his daughter and next heir, aged 6 years and more.
