He held the manor of Shifnal for life of the king in chief by knight service as 1 knight's fee in right of his late wife Elizabeth, formerly wife of Henry Mortimer, knight , with reversion to Maud, wife of John Talbot, knight, Lord Furnivalle , and Joan, wife of Hugh de Cokesey, knight , daughters of Thomas Nevyll, late Lord Furnivalle , and his heirs, by grant of ‪ Henry IV to Thomas Nevyll by letters patent of 10 Feb. 1406 [CPR 1405-8, p. 144], annual value £40.

He died on 26 Oct. last. Joan wife of William Birmyngham, knight , and Margaret late the wife of Richard Mutton, knight , are his daughters and heirs, aged 28 years and more, and 26 years and more.

Jointly with his wife Joyce, who survives, he held the manor of Bobbington by the grant of Roger de Aston, parson of Weston under Lizard , William Perton, parson of Blymhill , and William Lashefer, parson of Harborough Magna , to Adam and Joyce for their lives with reversion to Richard son of Reynold de Mutton of Shropshire and his wife Margaret, one of the daughters of Adam and Joyce, and the heirs of their bodies.

Bobbington. The manor is held of Humphrey , son and heir of Edmund, late earl of Stafford , under age in the king's ward, by knight service, annual value £10.
He also held for life 20 a. arable and 4 a. meadow in Weston under Lizard and Blymhill and 1/5 manor of Weston under Lizard with the advowson and 1/5 of the advowson of Blymhill by the grant of Fulk de Penbrugg, knight, by a fine of quin. Trin. and oct. Mich. 1403 [CP 25/1/211/21, no. 18] between William Mosse, parson of Lamport, Robert Say, parson of Eaton Hastings , and Walter Swan, parson of Aylestone , quer., and Fulk Penbrugge, knight, def., by which Fulk granted to William, Robert and Walter the reversion of 20 a. arable, 4 a. meadow in Weston under Lizard and Blymhill, 1/5 manor of Weston under Lizard, the advowson of the church of that manor, and 1/5 advowson of the church of Blymhill, which Adam Pessale, knight , held for life of of Fulk's inheritance. Robert afterwards died, and William and Walter by a fine of mor. Ascension 1417 and oct. Mich. 1419 [CP 25/291/64, no. 82] acknowledged them to be the right of Richard Brond with reversion to him and his heirs, John Benteley, clerk , John Aston, clerk , William Galley, chaplain , and William Fitzherberde .
Weston under Lizard and Blymhill. The 6 a. arable and 2 a. meadow, part of the 20 a. arable and 4 a. meadow, and 1/5 of the advowson of Blymhill are held of the heir of the earl of Stafford by knight service, annual value 3s. 4d.
The 14 a. arable and 2 a. meadow in Weston under Lizard, the remainder of the 20 a. arable and the 4 a. meadow, 1/5 manor and the advowson are held of John Arundell, knight, lord of Arundel , by knight service, annual value 43s. 4d.
