Holdings
He held no lands of the king in chief in demesne or by service, but was formerly seised in his demesne as of fee of 1/2 manor of Lillesdon, 1/4 manor of Stathe, 1/4 hundred of Stathe and 2s. 10d. yearly rent from John Craddok for 1/2 tenement in Stathe. By a charter sealed with his seal of arms, dated at North Curry on 20 July 1409 and shown to the jurors in evidence, he granted the following to John Montagu , Matthew Coker , William Gosse and Thomas Mulys : 1/2 manor of Lillesdon described as all messuages, arable, meadow and pasture in Lillesdon and 8s. yearly rent from each of 2 tenements there held by John Halle and John Manus , with the reversions; 1/4 manor of Stathe except arable, meadow and pasture in Saltmoor, part of the manor of Stathe, and the rent in Stathe from Craddok, described as 1/4 manor of Stathe, except the lands in Saltmoor, profits of 1/4 hundred of Stathe and the rent in Stathe from Craddok. By deed dated at North Curry on 10 Sept. 1409 the feoffees reconveyed the lands to William and his wife Eleanor, who survives, to hold to them and the heirs of William for ever. By deed dated at Taunton on 26 March 1417 William's son John Beauchamp released his right in the lands to William and Eleanor.
He died on 7 July last. John Beauchamp is his son and next heir, aged 30 years and more.
