He held in his demesne as of fee to himself and his heirs the manors of Tiscott, Aldbury and Wilstone, and by his charter dated at St. Giles without Cripplegate in London on 4 May 1416, shown to the jurors, granted them to Thomas Chaworth, knight , Edmund Hampneden and John Longevill , esquires, Peter Hynewyk and John Megre , clerks, Robert Wandesforth, chaplain , and William Kelby , and their heirs and assigns. They held, and still hold, of whom and by what service is unknown, annual values,

Long before his death he held a messuage and various tenements in the parish of St. Giles without Cripplegate [value, etc., not specified] in the suburbs of London, and granted them to Thomas Chaworth, knight , and others [97]. They still hold.

Henry de Charewelton and Henry Brodyg , chaplains, and Henry Noddyng held the manor of Dadlington in their demesne as of fee and by their deed dated 20 June 1383, shown to the jurors, granted it to William Cheyne, knight, of Long Stanton, his wife Katharine and the heirs of their bodies. They held in fee tail and had issue Laurence. William died and Katharine married Thomas Aylesbury . He held it for life in her right and had no other right in it.

The 1/3 manor of Eaton was held by John son of Robert Elyngham , and by his charter dated at Eaton on 14 May 1417, made with royal licence [26 April 1417: CPR 1416-22, p. 105] he granted it to Thomas Aylesbury, knight , John Megre, clerk , and Robert Wandesforth, chaplain , and their heirs and assigns. They held, and Megre and Wandesforth still hold, of the king in chief, service unknown, annual value 60s.

Long before his death he held the manors of Bradwell, Broughton and Drayton Beauchamp, and a rent of 10 marks from the mills of Newport Pagnell, or from the issues of the manor. By his charter [97] he granted them to Thomas Chaworth and others. They still hold, all the services unknown.

Peter Hynewyk, clerk , and Thomas Rous and Henry Brodyng , chaplains, formerly held the manor and advowson of Blatherwycke in their demesne as of fee and by their charter dated 25 Feb. 1415, shown to the jurors, granted it to Thomas Aylesbury , his wife Katharine, and their heirs with remainder to her right heirs.

He also held the manors of Laxton, Pytchley called `Engaynes' manor, Irchester and Thenford in right of his wife Katharine, who survives, and by no other title. Laxton and 10 virgates in Pytchley called `Engaynes' with Great Gidding manor in Huntingdonshire are held of the king by the serjeanty of providing hounds for hunting foxes and other vermin, annual values, Another 10 virgates in `Engaynes' manor are held of the abbot of Peterborough , service unknown, and the rest of the manor of Pytchley called `Engaynes' of John Knyvet of his manor of Great Weldon, service unknown. Long before his death he held a manor in Pytchley called `Bassettes', formerly of Ralph Basset of Great Weldon, and granted it to Thomas Chaworth, knight , and others [97].
