William Wyngefeld the son held the manor of Kimberley called `Butourdes' jointly with his wife Katharine, who survives, by the grant of William Dargenten, knight , Robert Rous of Dennington, and Walter Edwent, chaplain , which they and John de la Pole, clerk , held jointly with Adam Gode of `Wetbeygh', deceased, by the grant of Richard Waldegrave, knight , and Ellis Fraunceys , to hold to William and Katharine and their heirs and assigns.

The manor is held of Margaret Clifton of the manor of `Stotevyle' in Kimberley by a rent of 2d., annual value 100s.

He died on 24 Aug. last William de la Pole, earl of Suffolk , son of Michael, son of Michael and Katharine, daughter and heir of John Wyngefeld, knight , brother of Richard, father of William Wyngefeld, knight , father of William Wyngefeld , is his kinsman and heir, aged 21 years and more.

Holdings

John Cokayn and Robert Waltham , clerks, Richard Odiham and William Chychele by their charter granted the manor of Hintlesham and the advowson of its church to John Hadele , citizen of London, now deceased, for his life and his executors for one year more without impeachment of waste, with successive remainders to William Wyngefeld the son and his wife Katharine, the heirs of their bodies and the right heirs of John Hadele by royal licence [not found]. Half the manor is held of the king in chief as 1/4 knight's fee, the other half of the king by a rent of one sparrow-hawk or 2s. yearly at the Exchequer, annual value 10 marks.

the manor and advowson of the earl of Suffolk of the honor of Eye, by a rent of £16, annual value 5 marks,
the lands in Dennington, Badingham, Laxfield, Tannington and Brundish of the prior of Eye and John Fastolf by a rent of 29s., annual value 5 marks;
Cotton, the manor, formerly held by his father William de Wyngefeld, knight , with its appurtenances in Cotton, Bacton, Old Newton, Gipping, Finningham and Mendlesham, by the grant of William Dargenten, knight , William Stansted, clerk , Richard del Cherche of Gislingham, William Lampet of Thorndon, Robert Rous of Dennington, Thomas de Sengilton and Walter Edwen, chaplain, to them and their heirs and assigns.
It is held of Simon Felbryg, knight , by a rent of 6d., annual value £10;
Two water-mills called `Brommelles' with the site, ponds, `hayes', eels, herbage, roads and paths and all liberties belonging to them by the grant of Master John Poole, clerk , William Dargentein, knight , Robert Rous of Dennington and Walter Edwyne, chaplain , to them and their heirs and assigns. They are held of Simon Felbryg, knight , by rent of a rose, annual value 10s.
