Joan daughter of John Fylioll of Thorpe le Soken held in the following in her demesne as of fee. She married Thomas Howse , had a son, Walter, and died. Then Thomas held by the courtesy of England, and died holding.

`Foulton Bernes', a tenement so-called, 40 a. arable and 40 a. marsh in Ramsey, of the earl of Oxford , service unknown, annual value 5 marks;
a tenement and 20 a. called `Panteries' in Dovercourt of the Earl Marshal , service unknown, annual value 20s.;
and a tenement called `Badons' and 80 a. arable and 6 a. wood in Tendring of Hugh Stafford, Lord Bourchier , by a rent of 2s. yearly, annual value 4 marks.

Thomas died on 15 May last. Walter his son and next heir is aged 16 years and more.
