He died at Brigg on 10 Sept. 1417.

[CCR 1413-9, pp. 409-10: On 17 Nov. 1417 the escheator was ordered to remove the king's hand from the manor of Messingham, which had been held by John Glamson for life with reversion to Gerard de Sotehulle and Humphrey Baudes, it having been found by an inquisition taken before the escheator ex officio at Brigg on 10 Sept. 1417 that John Glamson had died that day.]
