He held the manor of Sutton upon Trent called ‘Bertram Monboucher’ in his demesne as of fee of the honor of Richmond, service unknown, annual value 5s.8d. and no more because burdened with a rent of 10 marks payable by equal parts at Whitsun and Michaelmas to Isabel daughter of Bertram Monboucher, knight , now wife of Robert Harebotell , for life by the grant of Bertram Monboucher, knight , the father of Bertram, by his deed dated at Sutton on 20 Dec. 1386 ; and 5 marks rent payable to Elizabeth widow of Bertram Monboucher , now the wife of Roger Fulthorp , for her life.

He died on 29 Jan. 1414. Bertram his son and heir is aged half a year and more.

Bertram Monboucher the father held in his demesne as of fee the manor called ‘Bertram Monboucher’ in Sutton upon Trent, which was taken into the hand of Henry IV owing to the minority of his son until a 3rd part was assigned to Elizabeth his widow in dower; the other 2 parts remain in the present king’s hands. It is held of Ralph earl of Westmorland of the honor of Richmond and not of the king in chief, service unknown, annual value of 2 parts, 10 marks.

He died on 6 Feb. 1414. Bertram the son of Bertram the son of Bertram the father is the next heir of Bertram the father, and aged 4 1/2 years.
