Holdings

William Pappeworth, knight , deceased, once held the manor of Papworth St. Agnes of Henry IV in his demesne as of fee. By royal licence [CPR 1405–8, p.452] he granted it, excepting 1a., to Henry Malpas, clerk , Roger Flore , and John Boteler of Yelling and their heirs. They regranted it, less the excepted 1a., to William and Alice and the heirs of his body with successive remainders to William son of Anketin Malore, knight, the heirs of his body and the right heirs of William Pappeworth . The annual value, less the excepted 1a., is 100s.

William Pappeworth died without heirs of his body, William Malore is now aged 30 years and more.

Alice died on 7 July 1416. Who is her heir is unknown.
