Holdings

He held the manor of Sandford in his demesne as of fee of the king in chief by the serjeanty of finding a horseman for the king’s service for the safeguard of Montgomery castle for 40 days when war is made by the Welsh against the English, annual value 66s.8d., and no more because it is situated on the border of the county and was totally wasted and burnt by the rebels in the time of Henry IV .

He died on 4 May last. Richard his son and heir is aged 40 years and more.
