Holdings

He held in his demesne as of fee ‘Fraunceys’ manor in Wimpole of the king by knight service of his manor of Sutton in Bedfordshire, annual value 10 marks,
and the manor of Arrington of the earl of March , a minor in the king’s ward, annual value £10.
He granted them by charter to Geoffrey Broun and John Hunte and their heirs on condition that they fulfilled his will. Afterwards about 1 Aug. 1409 he required them to enfeoff William Rokesburgh , John Shadworth and others and take the profits until Elizabeth his daughter reached 14 years of age and then enfeoff her and her heirs. So Rokesburgh and Shadworth held them.

Long before, when he held in his demesne as of fee, he granted 20 a., parcel of ‘Fraunceys’ manor, to Henry Jepe to hold to himself and his assigns at farm for 10 years from Michaelmas 1405 at 10s., annual value 10s.

He died on 8 Oct. last . Elizabeth his heir is aged 6 years and more.
