He held the manor of Sapperton in his demesne as of fee and enfeoffed Thomas Tuchet, parson of Mackworth , and John Tuchet, clerk , with the intention that after his death they should enfeoff his heir in fee simple when he reached full age. If no heir reached full age they should enfeoff John, brother of Thomas, on condition that he took the name and arms of John Tuchet, knight . After the grant he continued to take the issues and profits to his own use.

The manor of Sapperton is held in chief of the lady of Castle Bytham of the castle of Bytham by knight service, annual value 40s.

He died on 19 Dec. last. James his son and heir is aged 10 years and more.

He formerly held the manor of Leegomery and enfeoffed Thomas, parson of Mackworth in Derbyshire, and John Tuchet, clerk , to hold in safety to his use and that of his heirs, that they might after his death enfeoff his heir when he reached full age. If he failed to reach full age they should enfeoff John brother of Thomas on condition that he took the name and arms of John Tuchet, knight . Thus the manor was held to his use and he had the issues.

The manor of Leegomery is held of the castle and honour of Montgomery by knight service, being in the king’s ward owing to the minority of Edmund earl of March , annual value £40.

Betley, a third part of the borough. There are a third part of assize rents of 40s. payable at Lady Day and Michaelmas by equal parts, 2 watermills, annual value 26s.8d., and a third part of the toll of the borough, 2s.4d.
As Lord Audley and of Heighley, by letters patent he granted an annuity of 40s. from the profits of the borough payable by the bailiffs by equal parts at Lady Day and Michaelmas to John son of James de Thikenes for life.

Audley, half of a third part of the manor. There are assize rents of £6 6s.8d., and demesne lands, annual value 12s. both payable as above, a tallage worth 10s. at Martinmas, customary works at Lammas, 14 1/2d., a half of a third part of a mill, 10s., and half of the issues of the park there, 16s.
By letters patent he granted an annuity of 40s. from Audley, payable as above, to John Hornynglowe for life.

Horton and Endon, a third part of a third part of the manors. There are assize rents of £4 8s.10d. payable by equal parts at the Ascension and Martinmas, a third part of a third part of the enclosed pasture called Horton Lay, 13s.4d. at Midsummer and Martinmas, and a third part of a third part of 2 mills, 4s.
As Lord Audley and of Heighley and Llandovery, by letters patent of 24 May 1408 he granted an annuity of 5 marks for life from these manors, payable by equal parts at Lady Day and Michaelmas to Henry Sherrard .

Tunstall, a third part of a third part of the manor. In that part are assize rents of £4 payable by equal parts at Lady and Michaelmas, the service called tallage, 15s.6d. at Martinmas, customary works, 9s. payable at Candlemas and Lammas, the custom called ‘stuth’ every third year at Ascension, this being the second year, 26s.8d., a third part of a third part of a Watermill, 3s. at Lady Day and Michaelmas, and a third part of a third part of a quarry, 40s. at Midsummer and Martinmas.

Alstonefield, half of a third part of the manor, comprising assize rents and farm of the pasture, 100s., 40s. at Lady Day and 60s. at Michaelmas.
From this part he granted an annuity of 60s. for life to John son of Richard Tuchet of Mackworth.

Over Longsdon, half of the manor, and half of a third part of the vill of Balterley. There are assize rents of 11s.6d. payable by equal parts at Easter and Michaelmas.

He granted an annuity of 2 marks for life from all his lands in Staffordshire to Thomas de Thikenes .

He died on 19 Dec. last . James his son and heir was aged 10 years on 26 Dec.
