The site of the manor of Stanhoe is held of Hugh Bavent by a rent of 4d.; 100 a., part of the manor, are held of the prior of Castle Acre by 3s. rent; 40 a. are held of the heirs of William Sharneborne by 20d. rent; 11 a. of the abbot of North Creake by 12d. rent; 12 a. of William Calthorp, knight , by 2s. rent; 20 a. of Henry bishop of Norwich by 12d. rent; and 100 a. of William de Souche knight by 4s. rent; annual value 7 marks.
Crowshall manor is held of Lady Cromwell of her manor of Plassing Hall by a rent of a pair of gilt spurs or 6d., annual value £10.
The tenement called ‘Kyngeshalle’ and 100 a. are held of the king in chief by the service of keeping a brachet, annual value 40s.
Thomas Marche died on 19 May 1400. John Marche his brother and heir was aged 13 years and more at his death. Joan wife of Thomas Chipstead is sister and heir of John Marche and aged 17 years and more.
