By the grant of William la Zouche , his father, he held the manor of Middle Claydon for life of the king in chief of the honour of Peverel by knight service, and the manor of Ellesborough for life of Reynold de Grey by a rent of 1d. William la Zouche , now lord of Harringworth , his kinsman, that is the son of William, son of William, by a fine of 9 Feb. 1402 [not found] granted the reversion of these manors, which Thomas held for life of the inheritance of William, to Henry bishop of Lincoln , William de Wilughby and Thomas de Rempston , knights, Thomas Frysby , Ralph Flemyng , William Palmer , William Danby , and John Toly and William Glen , clerks, and the heirs of the bishop. The manors should remain to them. The annual values are Middle Claydon £10, Ellesborough 10 marks.

He died on 30 Oct. William la Zouche , his kinsman and heir, namely son of William his brother, is aged 30 years and more.

He held the manor of Westoning of the king by the service of a quarter of a knight’s fee by the grant of John bishop of Lincoln , Simon Warde , John de Holt and John Thame , by a fine of 1373 [CP 25(1) 5/65, no. 19] to William and Elizabeth la Zouche, his father and mother, with remainder to him (Thomas) and the right heirs of his father. William and Elizabeth died seised, and then Thomas held it until he died on 30 Oct. 1404 . The annual value is £8.

William la Zouche, lord of Harringworth , aged 30 years and more, is next heir, as above.
