THE SECOND INQUISITIONS POST MORTEM CONFERENCE AT WINCHESTER

Sunday 7^th – Monday 8^th September 2014

(immediately after 15^th century at Aberdeen)

This second conference builds on the success of The Fifteenth Century Inquisitions Post Mortem: A Companion, the digitisation of the IPMs and the creation of the GIS web-mounted interface of the IPMs for 1399-1447 (both scheduled for completion next year).

Papers are invited on any aspect of the nature, process, or especially the potential of the IPMs, though preference may be given to papers on the fifteenth century and/ or using the digital resources. It is intended to publish the conference proceeding s and some additional papers as a multi-authored book.

Speakers so far are Professor Christopher Dyer, Professor Michael Hicks, Dr Matthew Holford, Dr Gordon McKelvie, Dr Stephen Mileson, Dr Simon Payling, and Dr Matthew Tompkins.
