He was seised of the following in demesne as of fee. Staunton in the Vale, Flawborough, Dallington, and Alverton, the manors, true annual value £10, held of lord Thomas de Roos, knight , as 2 knights’ fees. Lord Thomas holds the manors immediately from Ralph, lord Cromwell, knight , and Margaret his wife, in right of Margaret, of her manor of Granby.
He died on 1 April last. Thomas Staunton is his son and next heir, aged 24 and more. [Head:] Delivered to court on 17 November 1447.
