He died on 29 August 1390. After his death the above were seized into the king’s hands and remained in the hands of ‪ Richard II and then ‪ Henry IV, until Henry IV by letters patent dated 11 April 1406 [cf. CFR 1405–13, p. 32, dated 27 May 1406 ] granted them to Thomas Chaworth, knight . Thomas occupied the above and still does, and received the issues and still does. The kin and next co-heirs of Robert are [1.] Anne, the wife of Thomas Porter, esquire , as the daughter of Peter, the son of William, the son of Alice, the sister of Margaret, the mother of Robert; and [2.] John Bellers, esquire , as the son of Isabel, the daughter of Anthony, the son of Maud, the other sister of Margaret, the mother of Robert.
