to Richard and Maud and the heirs of Maud, as is more fully contained in the charter. By virtue of this grant John and Elizabeth were seised at Maud’s death, and still are seised, in demesne as of fee tail. The charter, dated at Tarrington, 19 July 1423, was shown to the
jurors.
Bullingham or
Lower Bullingham, a moiety of a messuage, worth 6d. yearly, and of
36s. 4d. rent paid at Lady Day and Michaelmas; and Clehonger, a moiety of a toft, worth 4d. yearly, and of 5s. service rent paid at the same feasts, held of
Thomas, bishop of Hereford
by a rose at Midsummer if asked.
