She held the following, from the inheritance of John Paulet , son and heir of her late husband, by grant of Walter de Hungerford, knight, lord of Heytesbury and le Hommet , Thomas Stawell, knight , Martin Jacob , and William Magot , to John Paulet the father and Constance and the heirs of their bodies. She died seised of such estate. Nunney, the manor, held of William Palton, knight , of his manor of Croscombe, by knight service. In the manor there is a site called ‘a mowte’, worth nothing yearly; 200 a. arable, each acre worth 2d. yearly; 20 a. meadow, each acre worth 12d. yearly; and £7 assize rent payable by various customary tenants at Christmas, Easter, Midsummer and Michaelmas.

She was seised of the following in demesne as of fee. Basing, the manor, with the advowson of the free chapel in the manor, held of the king in chief by knight service. In the manor there is a capital messuage, worth nothing yearly; 20 other messuages, each worth 2s. yearly; 4 carucates of land, each worth 40s. yearly; 40 a. meadow, each acre worth 20d. yearly; 300 a. pasture, each acre worth 1d. yearly; 40 a. great wood, worth nothing yearly; a park, worth nothing yearly; a several water, worth 5s. yearly; 100s. service rent from various tenants payable at Easter and Michaelmas; and a court with view of frankpledge, worth 10s. yearly. Abbotstone, 1/3 manor, with the advowson of a third part of the church there, annual value 53s. 4d., held of the abbot of the house and church of St Peter of Hyde, service unknown. She married John Paulet, knight , and they had issue: John and William. After the death of John Paulet the father, Constance, seised of the above, married Henry Grene, esquire , and they had issue: Anne. Constance died seised of the above as specified. Henry survived her and holds the above by curtesy.
