He died on 24 December last. Henry Bodrugan is his son and next heir, and was aged 15 years and 28 weeks on the day of William’s death.

Mevagissey church is dedicated to SS Meva and Issey, and the scribe may have believed incorrectly that this indicated two churches rather than just one.
