Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Margaret, daughters of Alice, and the heirs of their bodies; and
to the right heirs of Alice. Royal licence was obtained, as shown by letters patent
dated on 24
March 1439 [CPR 1436–41, p. 248]. The
charter and letters patent were shown to the jurors.

Warnford, the manor and
advowson of the church there. The manor, annual value £20, is held of the king

Bechekorne
receives 10 marks yearly from it for life, for good
service to Alice, by deed dated on 24 December 1432, shown to the jurors. The
annuity is payable at Easter and Michaelmas equally.
Abbotstone, 1/3 manor and 1/3 advowson
of the church there. The 1/3 manor, annual value 40s., is held of
Henry, bishop of
Winchester and cardinal
of England
, service unknown.
Michael
Skyllyng
receives 40s. sterling
yearly from the third for life, for good counsel to Alice, by deed dated on 20 August
1438, shown to the jurors. The annuity is payable at Easter and Michaelmas
equally.
She died on 19 April 1439.
Thomas
Kyngeston
is her son and next heir,
and aged 3 1/2 years and more.
