He died on 16 January 1436. John, his son and next heir, is a native fool and idiot and the tenement belongs to the king because of this.
The issues have been taken by Alice Lanerok of Salle, daughter of Giles, since Giles’ death, and she still takes them, for which she is answerable to the king.

The rest of the inquisition records the inventories of goods and chattels forfeit of John Betes lately of Kessingland, outlawed at Ipswich in Suffolk on 24 May 1434 at the suit of John Holtman for a plea of debt, and John Northern, lately of Glandford in Norfolk, who fled (fugam fecit) on 26 May 1435 for various felonies perpetrated in that county. Betes’ goods and chattels on the day of his outlawry – a cart and four horses, price 13s. 4d. – came to the hand of William Howes of Blakeney at Blakeney on 13 June 1435, for which Howes is answerable to the king; and Northern’s goods and chattels on the day of his flight – one dalmatic (colobiu[m]), price 10s., one gown (togam), price 8s., one mazer (murram), price 13s. 4d., one pair of linen sheets or altar cloths (linttheam[inum]), price 5s., one rosary (par p[re]cum) with one necklace (monil[e]) of silver, price 13s. 4d., 10d. in cash (pecunia numerata), and other goods and chattels to the value of 20s. – came to the hand of William Bulman of Wood Norton and Andrew Plattyng of Twyford on 28 May 1435, for which they are answerable to the king.
