                     </name>, that <rs type="person">Elizabeth</rs>, lately a minor in <name type="person">the king</name>’s wardship, is now deceased, and <rs type="person">Thomasia</rs> and <rs type="person">Anne</rs> are her sisters and next heirs. <name type="person">

                        <name type="surname">Bourghchier</name>
                     </name>, <rs type="person">Thomasia</rs>’s husband, recently proved <name type="person">Thomasia</name>’s majority [720], and <name type="person">the king</name> has taken his fealty. Order to divide the messuages, lands, etc., into two equal parts, in the presence of <rs type="person">William</rs> and <name type="person">Thomasia</name> and the next friends of <rs type="person">Anne</rs>, or their attorneys. <rs type="person">William</rs> and <name type="person">Thomasia</name> are to have full seisin of <rs type="person">Thomasia</rs>'s purparty without delay, and <rs type="person">Anne</rs>’s purparty is to be kept in <name type="person">the king</name>’s hand [CClR 1435–41, p. 95].</ab>
