Nacton, 1/7 manor of Cow Hall, by the metes and bounds separating it from the other 6/7, annual value 20s., held of the king in chief as 1/10 knight’s fee. Great Wenham, 2 a. land, annual value 6d., not held of the king , but of whom held or by what service unknown, and 1/3 of the advowson of the church, viz., the presentation on every third vacancy. She held the following for life, reversion to John, son of Hugh, and the heirs of his body, by grant of William Phelipp, knight , William Wallere and Nicholas Blaxals , to her and Edmund Stapilton then her husband to have to the end of Maud’s life, by an indented charter of theirs, shown to the jurors. The charter specified successive remainders to John, son of Hugh, and the heirs of his body, described as John Fastolf , son of Hugh Fastolf , and Maud his wife, and to the right heirs of John Holbrok, knight . Rendlesham, the manor called ‘Coluylysmaner’, with the advowson of the church of Rendlesham, true annual value 53s. 4d., held of William, earl of Suffolk , service unknown.
