There are 5 a. land, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 50s. rent from free tenants in Earlham, payable at Easter and Michaelmas equally; and a court baron, held every 3 weeks, worth nothing yearly beyond the steward’s stipend and expenses. In the said 5 a. land there was formerly a built-up site, which was the manorial site, worth nothing yearly. The said 5 a. land, 50s. rent and court only make up the manor.
He died on 24 October last. Robert Aleyn , his son and next heir, is aged 40 years and more.
