She did not hold any lands or tenements of the king in chief in demesne or in service. She was formerly seised of the following manor in demesne as of fee, which, by the name Katherine who was the wife of Roger Jule , she gave, among other things, to William Talbot her brother and the heirs of his body, as fully appears in a charter of hers, shown to the jurors, dated at Wadfast on 25 June 1397. By virtue of this grant, William Talbot was seised in demesne as of fee tail. Afterwards, by the name of Katherine Penhyrgard , formerly wife of Roger Jule , she ratified this by another charter of hers, shown to the jurors, dated at Truro on 10 March 1410, renouncing all her right and claim in the manor to William Talbot , then in possession, and his said heirs. Afterwards, by a charter of his dated on 8 May 1410, William Talbot transferred the manor to Katherine to hold for life, reversion to William and his abovementioned heirs specially reserved. William had issue, Thomas Talbot, esquire , who survives, aged ?40 years. Afterwards, William died and the right of reversion of the manor descended to Thomas, son and heir of William, by virtue of the said entail. Afterwards, Katherine died seised of the manor for life, and in no other way, and after her death the manor descended to Thomas, son of William, by virtue of the entail. Wadfast, the manor, annual value 10 marks, held of the king of his duchy of Cornwall, service unknown.
She died on 25 January last. Joan, wife of John Luke , is her daughter and next heir, aged 40 years and more.
