The lands are in the custody of Lewis John by commission of ‪ Henry V [CPR 1413–16, p. 232]. Inform him of the forthcoming proof of age. [Dorse:] Lewis was informed but did not appear. Nicholas Ledrede , 57 and more, well recalls because he was at the sessions of the peace at Romsey on the same day. William Berell , 50 and more, well recalls because he was at the funeral of John his father on the same day. William Gladhyte , 60 and more, well recalls because he was ill and in danger of death from the plague on the same day.
