He held the following in demesne as of fee. Great Hallingbury, the manor, held of the king in chief by knight service. There is a manorial site, worth nothing yearly; 300 a. arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly; 44 a. pasture, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 34 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. yearly; a park, worth nothing yearly beyond the parker’s fee, enclosure, and sustenance of the beasts; £4 16s. 8d. assize rent from tenants, payable at Easter and Michaelmas in equal parts; and perquisites of the court, worth 10s. yearly.
He died on 6 December last. Robert Morley , his son and next heir, is aged 17 years and more. [Head:] returned on 9 February.

He held the following in demesne as of fee. Walkern, the manor, held of the king by knight service. There is a manorial site, worth nothing yearly; 244 a. arable, each acre worth 4d. yearly; ... [hole in ms] a. pasture, each acre worth 6d. yearly; 24 a. meadow, each acre worth 2s. yearly; a park, its agistment worth 26s. 8d. yearly beyond the sustenance of the beasts; 10 marks 4s. 8d. assize rent from tenants, payable at Easter and Michaelmas equally; and perquisites of court, worth 6s. yearly. By his letters patent dated on 20 September 1427, shown to the jurors, he appointed John Hotoft, esquire , as master and custodian of the parks of Walkern and Hallingbury for life. Further, he gave him an annual lifetime rent of 5 marks from the profits of the manor, to be paid by the farmer or occupier at Easter and Michaelmas equally. By other letters patent of his dated on 6 May 1428 he likewise gave to John Humberston, varlet , the office of custodian of the park and warren of Walkern for life, taking 2d. daily from the farmer or occupier of the manor for this office.

Jurors: John Sparham ; Robert Cavell ; Denis Wylles ; John Lasebond ; William Elyngham ; John Damyon ; William Thurton ; William Willes ; John Leen ; John Wegge of Little Witchingham; John Wegge of Great Witchingham; and Richard Bosse .
He held the following jointly with Isabel his wife, still living, by enfeoffment of Henry, lately bishop of Norwich , Robert, lately bishop of London , Thomas Erpyngham and Miles Stapilton , knights, Thomas Stanley , John Thorp and John Birlingham , clerks, William Rees , Robert Garveys , John Yelverton , James Billyngford and Richard Drewe , now deceased, to them and the heirs of their bodies, in the name of Thomas de Morlee, knight , son and heir of Robert de Morlee, knight , and Isabel his wife. The king’s licence was not obtained for this, but afterwards Henry VI pardoned Thomas and Isabel for the transgression on their part by letters patent, shown to the jurors [CPR 1422–29, p. 394]. Swanton Morley, the manor, with the advowson of the church, annual value £40. Thomas Erpyngham, knight , and Richard Drewe granted two parts of the following manors and fishery to him, by the name Thomas, Lord Morley , and Isabel then his wife and the heirs of their bodies, with reversion of the third part on the death of Anne, lately the wife of Thomas, lately Lord Morley , grandfather of the Thomas named in the writ, who held the same in dower by Thomas the grandfather’s endowment. This was done by an indented charter of theirs dated on 25 March 1420, shown to the jurors. ‪ Henry V’s licence was obtained [CPR 1416–22, p. 265], likewise shown to the jurors. By virtue of this, Anne attorned to Thomas and Isabel for the third part. After Anne’s death, Thomas and Isabel were seised of the manors and fishery in fee tail, by virtue of the grant, continuing in this estate for the whole of Thomas’ life. He held the manors, etc., jointly with Isabel. Aldeby, the manor, annual value £30. Hockering, the manor, annual value £20. Hingham, a fishery called ‘Semer’. He held the following jointly with Isabel his wife by grant of William Phelipp, knight , Edmund Wynter , Nicholas Rikhill and William Garveys to them and the heirs of their bodies. ‪ Henry V’s licence was obtained and the letters patent shown to the jurors [CPR 1416–22, p. 265]. Foulsham, the manor, annual value £20. Eynesford, the hundred, annual value £13 6s. 8d. All the said manors and fishery were formerly parcel of the barony of Rye, held of the king in chief by knight service, viz., as 1/10 barony.
He died on 6 December 1435. Robert, son of Thomas and Isabel, is his next heir, aged 17 years on 20 November 1435.
